The experience is humbling, peaceful, and incredibly fulfilling. For those who crave a deeper connection with nature and a sense of spiritual renewal, the Gaumukh Trek offers more than just breathtaking views—it’s a journey that stays with you long after you’ve left the mountains behind.

Arrive at Haridwar railway station or Dehradun airport, or drive directly from Delhi to Haridwar (220 km / approx. 6 hours). Upon arrival, meet our representative and transfer to your hotel for check-in. In the evening, visit Hari-Ki-Pauri ghat to witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti ceremony. Overnight stay at the hotel in Haridwar.

After breakfast, start your journey to Uttarkashi, a serene town on the banks of the Bhagirathi River. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel. In the evening, visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, one of the most important shrines in Uttarkashi. Overnight stay at the hotel in Uttarkashi.

In the morning, drive to Gangotri, the spiritual source of the Ganga River, stopping en route at the picturesque village of Harsil. Continue your drive to Gangotri, where you will check in at your hotel upon arrival. The evening is free for you to explore the temple and surroundings. Overnight stay at a hotel or guest house in Gangotri.

Start your trek from Gangotri to Bhojbasa, following the scenic trail along the Bhagirathi River. The trek offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and the river valley. Arrive at Bhojbasa and set up camp for the night. Overnight stay at the campsite in Bhojbasa.

Begin your trek early in the morning, heading towards Gaumukh, the snout of the Gangotri Glacier and the origin of the Ganga River. After spending some time at Gaumukh, continue trekking to Tapovan, a high-altitude meadow known for its breathtaking views and its location at the base of Shivling Peak. Set up camp and spend the night in Tapovan.

Spend the day exploring the natural beauty around Tapovan. You can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding peaks, including Shivling, Bhagirathi, and Meru. Relax and soak in the serene environment. Overnight stay at the campsite in Tapovan.

After breakfast, start your trek back down to Chirbasa, retracing your steps through the beautiful landscapes. Arrive at Chirbasa and set up camp for the night. Overnight stay at the campsite in Chirbasa.

In the morning, trek down to Gangotri, completing the final leg of your trek. After reaching Gangotri, drive back to Uttarkashi. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and relax after your trek. Overnight stay at the hotel in Uttarkashi.

After breakfast, drive to Rishikesh. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Rishikesh, including visits to iconic sites like the Laxman Jhula and Ram Jhula. In the evening, attend the Ganga Aarti at Parmarth Niketan Ashram. Overnight stay at the hotel in Rishikesh.

After breakfast, transfer to the railway station or airport for your journey back to Delhi, concluding your trek.
